ABOUT

As a kid, I always loved doodling and creating art. I would fill notebooks with drawings but never really thought about doing anything with them. I entered the corporate world out of college which left me constantly craving a creative outlet. It wasn't until I moved into an apartment with my now husband and his dog, Tobi that I got inspired. Tobi would look out the window of the 2 story apartment building and watch the neighbors go by. He became famous in our complex as "the dog in the window." When I showed my mom how Tobi greets us from the window when we get home (pictured), she said I needed to make it a children's book. That's what sparked my unknown desire to write and illustrate children's books.
